In the Lecrín Valley, La Alpujarra and in the Sierra Nevada, you can make wonderful walks through unspoilt countryside. Walks are available in various levels of difficulty, from a few hours to a whole day. Please see our Walking Package for the possibilities.
Also the GR-7 long distance route passes through the valley. We have several self guided short walks around Nigüelas available for you in our tourist information book. We also sell self guided walking routes which have been checked/set out by us. We also sell a walking map of the area. For suggestions about travel and walking books, as well as maps, also see travel information.

Granada
As mentioned in Area, Granada city is definitely worth a visit, spending at least one day. What you certainly must not miss is the Alhambra and the gardens of the Generalife. During your stay we can give you information regarding the nicest bars and restaurants in Granada.
An entry ticket for the Alhambra can best be purchased well in advance (4 to 6 weeks earlier minimum), this can be done via
www.alhambra-tickets.es. Together with our confirmation of booking we will send you information about booking tickets for the Alhambra. If you do not succeed with booking tickets, we can also order them for you at a surcharge.
If you don't feel like walking everywhere, you can buy a ticket for the City sightseeing tour Granda, which is hop-on-hop-off bus that drives around Granda (ticket valid for 48 hours).
If you are visiting more than one sight, then it might be worthwhile to buy a Granada-card, this card includes the Alhambra, the main sights, public transport, etc.
We can book a city tour for you, "Granada and the Moores" or "Granada and nature", you will be guided through the city by an English speaking historian. Only upon request, please contact us in advance.
